Accessibility

Last reviewed: 11 August 2026

ICPC Journal of Competitive Learning is committed to providing a website and publications that are usable by people with disabilities. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA and to improve accessibility as the journal develops.

Measures we take

  • Use semantic headings, landmarks, labels, alternative text, and keyboard-accessible controls.
  • Test public pages at desktop and mobile widths, with keyboard navigation, zoom, and assistive technology.
  • Ask authors to provide alternative text, structured tables, accessible figures, and text-searchable manuscripts.
  • Review publication files and metadata before release and correct reported barriers promptly.

Current conformance status

The journal website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Core public pages provide skip links, responsive reflow, labelled controls, meaningful headings, and alternative text. Some published PDF files do not yet contain complete document tags or an optimized reading order. We are remediating those files and will provide an accessible alternative on request.

Alternative formats and feedback

If you cannot access an article, submission instruction, form, or other journal content, contact christian.lim@icpc.global. Please include the page or article URL, the format you need, and a brief description of the barrier. We will acknowledge accessibility requests within five business days and aim to provide an accessible alternative or a substantive response within ten business days.

Technical information

This site is published with Open Journal Systems and a custom journal theme. Accessibility is reviewed across the public website, submission workflow, article metadata, and publication files.
